Investing more than £1bn into its programming each year and having brought household favourites to screens for more than six decades, ITV is undoubtedly one of the country’s biggest commercial producers and broadcasters.
Drawing in 5.5million adults every week across the Midlands alone, the national giants are now furthering their involvement with the region as they gear up to headline the Nottingham Post Business Awards.
Taking place each year, the awards bring to light local businesses who have enjoyed notable achievements over the course of the past 12 months.
This year’s event returns to Nottingham on Wednesday 22 May at the East Midlands Conference Centre, where ITV will be joining Mazars, The WBS Group and Gateley Plc as headline sponsors.
Their sponsorship is advantageous to all parties involved with ITV given the opportunity to expand their reach and further their impact on the Midlands, while the awards itself benefits from having a huge name such at this added to its roster.
Jason Spencer is the Business Development Director at ITV and he was on-hand to explain the rationale behind their involvement.

Currently, the broadcaster is rolling out its ‘More Than TV’ strategy which will see the heavyweights continue to invest in production in the UK and internationally across our ITV Studios division.
As part of this strategy, ITV is also in collaboration with the BBC on a brand-new subscription service, BritBox, in partnership with the BBC.
