Leading financial management group Foresight will be injecting a dose of glamour into the Nottingham Post Business Awards via their sponsorship of the event’s champagne reception.
Foresight manage money for more than 24,000 private investors as well as leading financial institutions, government organisations, pension funds and insurance companies from across the world.
They will be joining the line-up of generous sponsors at The East Midlands Conference Centre for the main event on Wednesday 22 May. And, thanks to their support, the night will kick-off with a few glasses of bubbly for all those in attendance.
Ray Harris, MEIF Principal of the group elaborated on their sponsorship: “Foresight Group has grown from its origins as a technology focused venture capital firm to become a leading independent infrastructure and private equity investment.
“Foresight’s Private Equity Team manages £450 million from its five offices. This includes the £40 million Foresight Nottingham Fund” demonstrating why the city is so central to the company values.”
Foresight has decided to sponsor the event as it “showcases some of the best businesses the region has to offer. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the successes the nominees have had in the last year”.
This is not the first time the group has sponsored the event and Harris said that it is “something that foresight is both proud and delighted to support once again”.
Nurturing local talent and the business community is clearly something that is continually important to Foresight as they: “have invested in 22 businesses in the East Midlands, each of which are worked closely with to drive growth”.
Each year, the awards bring together representatives from some of the region’s top businesses with each and every one committed to celebrating one another’s achievements.
