Each year, gravitas is brought to the Nottingham Post Business Awards through the sponsorship and partnership of local businesses. And, this year is no different as Stowe Family Law is the latest name to announce its support for the event.
Stowe Family Law was founded with a single office in Leeds in 1982. Since then it has grown into the UK’s largest specialist family law firm with 18 offices nationwide handling divorce and separation, cohabitation disputes, civil partnerships, child law and financial claims to name but a few.
The firm opened its first office in the Midlands in 2018 – a decision that was followed up quickly by an office opening in Birmingham.
Sushma Kotecha is a Managing Partner at Stowe Family Law and explained their association with this year’s Nottingham Post Business Awards:
“At Stowe, we are delighted to be an Event Partner at the annual Nottingham Post Business Awards.
“Since opening the Stowe office last October, we have been impressed by the thriving business sector in Nottingham and the positive work taking place to boost the local economy and community.
“Supporting these awards is a great opportunity to highlight the success and achievement of the innovative people and companies across the city.”
Despite being new to the Midlands, Stowe Family Law are already committed to positively impacting the region’s businesses and individuals through the work they do and the relationships they seek to make.
“As a niche family law firm, the work we do directly impacts family life, which in turn benefits the whole community” Sushma said. “Opening just last October, we are excited to have joined the thriving legal sector in Nottingham, with numerous law firms featuring in this year's Legal 500 list and look forward to contributing to some of the diverse work coming into the city.
“Sponsorship of the annual Nottingham Post Business Awards is just one of the many activities we will undertake to support and build relationships with other Nottingham professionals in both the legal and wider sectors.”
New offices bring new ambitions and the next 12 months will see the firm “aim is to be the very best family law firm in Nottingham and build upon their national reputation for providing outstanding legal advice, client care and delivering the best possible outcome for clients” according to Sushma.
Nominations for the Nottingham Post Business Awards close on Friday 15 February. From there, they will be passed on to category sponsors for a month-long judging period.
