On Wednesday 22 May, two famous faces will host the highly anticipated Nottingham Post Business Awards.
TV comedian Mark Dolan, who is best-known for presenting Channel 4’s Balls of Steel is one half of the evening’s compèring duo and will be joined by Olympic badminton medallist, Gail Emms MBE.
The pair are no strangers to the events either as their charismatic hosting style has become a popular choice for regional business awards across the country.
It’s thanks to sponsors ACE Sameday Couriers, who provide fast, secure, direct delivery services to companies across the Midlands, that the duo is able to get involved with this year’s event.
From aerospace and automotive, to shop-fitting and bio-science, the range of industry sectors that ACE supply is diverse.
This is the first year the business has supported the Nottingham Post Business Awards and Chris Scothern, Business Development Manager at ACE said: “We are sponsoring the awards because it is a great way to celebrate the business success and talent that we have in the city and wider region.
“It is also a fantastic opportunity to meet and learn more about some of the companies and organisations that drive our local economy. We have many firms that maybe don’t grab the headlines but are engaged in exciting and innovative work.”
ACE is proud to count some of the region’s best-known and most respected companies among their clients, and take care to positively impact the local area.
Mr Scothern added: “As a company our core client base is within the East Midlands and we are keen that the potential of all our cities is realised.
“We are active members of Marketing Derby and East Midlands Chamber of Commerce and firmly believe the region has huge potential that will be realised if we work collaboratively.”
The Nottingham Post Business Awards returns to the East Midlands Conference Centre on Wednesday 22 May 2019.
Proceedings on the night will kick-off with a Champagne reception and a three-course meal, before the presentation of the awards commence. Entertainment and charity fundraising activities will also take place.
