One of the Midlands’ leading print groups, Stirland Paterson Group, have come on board with this year’s Nottingham Post Business Awards as they confirm their category sponsorship.
Founders Simon Stirland and John Paterson of the Stirland Paterson Group started the business above John's father’s car sales office back in 1996.
Now, the company boasts purpose-built offices and factories with a team that works seven days a week to create design, marketing, web-to-print, digital, print & mailing solutions for both local and blue-chip companies throughout the UK.
With their services centred around boosting the impact of their clients’ sales and marketing activities, it seemed only natural for Stirland Paterson Group to sponsor a category which celebrates other businesses that use creative solutions to overcome sales and marketing challenges.
Simon Stirland the Group Sales Director said: “It is great to see other local businesses doing well and facing up to their own challenges”, adding: “Nottingham is such a growing and vibrant city.
“Now in our fourth year of being sponsors and supporters of the Sales & Marketing category we are very excited to see how companies have been creating and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies and to see the results that have been achieved.”
The Nottingham Post Business Awards are dedicated to celebrating the success of the regional business community something Stirland Paterson are equally as passionate about as Simon highlighted.
“At Stirland Paterson we employ 70 members of staff from the local region as well as offering apprenticeships and training opportunities. The scope and scale of our work positively impacts the supply chain of businesses in the region that work with us. Coming on board with the Nottingham Post Business Awards is just one example of how we help to put our region on the map as well as supporting the local economy.
“We also support a number of local charities and business events through sponsorship and active participation.”
The last year saw the business continue to flourish and Stirland Paterson have big plans for 2019 as Simon outlined:
“Throughout the company’s 23 years, many economical and manufacturing challenges have presented themselves, but we have always been forward thinking and innovative in our approach, coupled with a solid financial foundation we have continually invested in staff, new technology and digital & print machinery.
“2019 sees us looking forward to the planning and creation of new factory space for our ever-growing customer base, who we are proud to work with.
“Our vision for the future is an ever evolving one. We have come from strong printing foundations and have developed our services to meet the needs of our customers which will not only secure our future but see us maintain our strong position in this competitive market.”
