To achieve success in business there are a number of key skills that are required, and innovation is arguably the most important of them all. Having the ability to identify a gap in the market, come up with unique ideas and cleverly market a businesses’ product or service are all vitally important.
This is something that the Nottingham Post Business Awards recognise and at this year’s ceremony the ‘Excellence in Innovation’ award will be presented to a company that has made clear strides when it comes to creating or introducing something new to their industry.
Award-winning recruitment consultancy, Tate Recruitment are this year’s sponsors of this award. Providing the highest quality of employees, on both a temporary and permanent basis, the firm recruit for a wide-range of positions including HR managers, marketing specialists and office administrators.
Karen Houghton is the Executive Operations Manager at Tate Recruitment and she discussed why they chose to sponsor this particular category.
“Here at Tate Recruitment, we have always been passionate about the East Midlands’ business community and what we all have achieved. We wanted to recognise the businesses in the ‘Excellence in Innovation’ category as it’s a group that we have worked with very closely in the last 30 years, helping them grow with the best talent in the market.
“We have expanded phenomenally in the last few years and have won many awards ourselves and now we want to recognise other superstars!”
Sponsoring the awards is not the only way in which Tate contribute to the local business community as Karen explained.
“Our main objective at Tate is simple – to be the best, everywhere, anytime. We do this in two ways by adding value and creating bespoke service to each client and candidate we work in partnership with.
“Tate is very different from any other recruiter in the market as we provide a full staffing support service from helping with branding and talent attraction, a traditional full 360 recruitment service to free NVQ upskilling and training to all your staff. We support the business community with our award winning free HR Seminars that companies now rely on to help with their own processes.”
15 awards will be up for grabs at this year’s awards which take place on 22 May at East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.
