Nottingham is home to a whole host of businesses in a wide range of industries and 2019 will see the return of the prestigious Nottingham Post Business Awards.
The ceremony has become the stand-out event on the regional business calendar and sees companies of all sizes recognised for their success over the past 12 months.
Set to take place on 22 May 2019 at East Midlands Conference Centre, the event will see local businesses go head-to-head in a variety of different categories meaning everyone has a chance for the spotlight to be shone on them.
The award that will dominate most people’s attention is the coveted ‘Company of the Year’ award. Presented to a business who has excelled in every area of their offering, and who continue to demonstrate their contribution to the regional business community, last year this award went the way of UNiDAYS.
Regarded as the world’s best-known student affinity network, UNiDAYS’ app and website gives students access to exclusive offers and discounts from a wide-range of big name brands. With an office in Nottingham, the brand has 10 million users worldwide and has partnered with the likes of ASOS, Nike, Apple and Microsoft.
It isn’t just established businesses who are celebrated at the Nottingham Post Business Awards. The ‘Start-Up Business of the Year’ category is an award which is presented to a business that has made a big impact in a short space of time. Given to a company that has only been in existence for a maximum of three years, last year saw leading SEO and Digital Marketing service, Marketing Labs take home the award.
An official Google partner, the company was established two years ago and, in that time, has seen their services recommended by East Midlands Chamber. They have also branched out to other services such as social media management, email marketing, content marketing and Google AdWords management.
Customer service is a key part of all businesses and the glittering ceremony also includes an award to honour a regional business who puts customer excellence at the forefront of everything they do. The ‘Customer Service Excellence Award’ last year was won by Littlefish.
The IT services provider have a customer satisfaction rating of 95% and have implemented a number of customer feedback policies to ensure their customers receive the highest level of service.
Each award will have a category sponsor who is responsible for choosing the shortlisted finalists and eventual winners with a number of local businesses coming on board.
